American Hat Company – Since 1915
Founded by Russian immigrant Sam Silver, and known for their development of the water resistant straw hat. They are located in Bowie, Texas.
American Hat pricing is affordable; especially for an American Made Product.
When American Hats celebrated their 100th anniversary in 2015, they were featured in the magazine Cowboys and Indians.
Most recently, they made a hat for President Trump.
American hats are known for every felt hat being hand-finished and every straw hat being cut and sewn by hand.

Resistol – Since 1927
Founded by E.R. Buyer and Harry Rolnick. Buyer was the financier and former satisfied customer of brilliant hat maker Rolnick.

Resistol was the first and only hat manufacturer to operate the entire felt hat making process; which includes over 200 processes!

Shorty’s Caboy Hattery – Since 1990
Shorty’s Caboy Hattery pricing reflects a hand-made, custom hat.
Founded by Lavonna “Shorty” Koger, and located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Shorty knows rodeo, and she definitely knows how to make a quality hat.
Shorty’s is the only woman-owned and operated custom hattery in the United States.
Shorty’s is a full-service custom hat making company, offering the opportunity for a customer to a part of the creating process. They also offer hat renovation services.

Larry Mahan (Milano Hat Co) – Since 1984
Larry Mahan’s felt hat pricing varies according to quality of felt. (3X-100X); and the straw hats are affordable to mid/high end.
The Milano Hat Company was founded in 1983 by John Milano, who at that time had 28 years experience in the hat making business.
It was soon after, in 1984, that he and rodeo legend Larry Mahan entered into a business agreement and developed a full line of Larry Mahan felt and straw hats. Their plant is located in Garland, Texas.
The Larry Mahan Premium Collection is known for precious metal buckle sets, genuine roan leather sweatbands, and woven linings.

JW Brooks Custom Hat Co. – Since 2014
J.W. Brooks hat pricing reflects custom, hand-made product.
Founded by award-winning western artist and CMT recognized country western singer J.W. Brooks.
JW Brooks Custom Hat Co is headquartered in Weatherford, Texas.
Selection: Each hat is custom-made. The customer can play a role in the design, colors, and quality of felt going into making their very own, one-of-a-kind hat.
