With the hottest concerts every night after when the sun goes down at Frontier Nights and the wildest rodeo action by day, the Daddy of ‘Em All spills over the edges of the rodeo grounds into the historic Cheyenne, Wyoming’s night clubs.
Something for everybody with parades, Native American dancers at Indian Village, great Western shopping both on and off Frontier Park. The long score line for the timed events at Cheyenne Frontier Days is famous for creating one of the most exciting steer wrestling competitions in all of rodeo.
Wins the whole thing for uniqueness! Steeped in tradition that’s palpable, every single rider who charges onto the Green Mile from flag bearers to Rodeo Queens rides at the top of their game and never fails to be mounted on an athletic horse that knows how to jump.
The rodeo arena is the infield of a racetrack and takes up an entire football field. It’s the only rodeo performed on grass (hence the name ‘The Green Mile’) and the barrel race is usually won in 28 seconds and change.
Over 100 years old, this is truly the most exciting rodeo in the world!
